Program Highlights

The IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MTech Program 2025-26 is a unique opportunity for final year BTech students to secure admission to one of India’s top engineering institutes without requiring a GATE score. This program offers a generous fellowship, travel support, and the chance to start your MTech journey early.

• No GATE Score Required: GATE score is not mandatory for admission.
• Fellowship: INR 15,400 per month (for candidates with a valid GATE score) or INR 6,000 (for others).
• Travel Support: Up to INR 60,000 for attending international conferences.
• Early Start: Selected candidates may complete their 8th semester of BTech at IITGN as a visiting student.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for IIT Gandhinagar Early Admit MTech are as follows:

• For NITs: Final year BTech students with a CPI/CGPA of not less than 8.0 (General/EWS/OBC) or 7.5 (SC/ST/PwD) at the end of their 3rd year.
• For Select Colleges: Top 5 rank holders (General/EWS/OBC) or top 10 rank holders (SC/ST/PwD) in their department at the end of their 3rd year.
• For IITs: Final year BTech students with a CPI/CGPA of not less than 6.0 at the end of their 3rd year.
